On December 6-7th , 2021, the 7th International Third Generation Semiconductor Forum and the 18th China International Semiconductor Lighting Forum (IFWS & SSLCHINA 2021) were successfully held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The theme of the forum is "Creating a core ecological and low-carbon future", closely following the pulse of the third-generation semiconductor technology and industrial innovation development, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, and nearly a thousand people including well-known domestic and foreign experts, scholars, leading companies, and industry elite representatives attended the forum to jointly grasp the business opportunities of the third-generation semiconductor and LED industry and promote the healthy and orderly development of the industry.

In addition to the opening conference where the Nobel Prize winners and academicians of the Academy of Sciences and other heavyweight guests will give speeches, this forum also has a forum on power electronics and applications, a forum on radio frequency electronics and applications, a forum on semiconductor lighting and applications, and Mini/Micro- LED and other new display forums, beyond lighting forums, solid-state UV devices and applications, and many other forums and seminars. ShineOn (Beijing) Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. is fortunate to participate in this international event of the semiconductor industry. CTO Dr. Guoxu Liu was invited to serve as the chairman of the Semiconductor Lighting and Application Forum Branch and preside over the forum at this forum. In this conference, ShineOn participated in two conference reports, one is the "Research on LED Spectral Characteristics in Educational Lighting Applications" co-written with leedarson, a leading lighting company, and Hebei University of Technology "The application of all-inorganic quantum dot composite materials in LED chip packaging (QD-on-chip)" co-authored by Professor Xu Shu.

In recent years, the importance of classroom lighting has attracted more and more attention from society. Myopia not only affects children's learning, quality of life and future career choices, but also brings huge economic burdens and economic losses. As early as August 2018, General Secretary Xi Jinping issued an important instruction to emphasize that the whole society must take action to take good care of children's eyes. There are many factors that affect the poor eyesight of primary and middle school students, and the lighting and lighting conditions in the classroom are one of the important factors. Therefore, it is urgent to control various risk factors for human eyes, create a good visual environment, and jointly protect children's eye health. With its many years of research and understanding on healthy and high-quality light sources, ShineOn and its downstream partner,leedarson, shared the technology and application cases of classroom healthy light source spectrum, lamps and lighting space design at this forum. Dr. Liu Guoxu mentioned in the forum report that the research comes from the 2016YFB0400605 "High-quality, Full-spectrum Inorganic Semiconductor Lighting Materials, Devices and Lamps Industrial Manufacturing Technology", the National Key R&D Program Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2016, which was responsible and presided over by ShineOn. "High-quality white LED packaging and phosphor R&D" subject work. Through the transformation of the project's achievements, ShineOn launched a series of products aimed at Ra98 high CRI continuous spectrum "Pleasant to the Eyes". The luminous efficiency of this product can reach 175lm/W @0.2W at 5000K, and R1-R15 are all >95.

At the same time, in view of the low blue light damage of classroom lighting and student desk lamps, ShineOn launched a series of "eye protection" products based on double blue peak LEDs. Under the guarantee of the typical value of Ra98, the proportion of high-energy blue light of this product is 28% lower than that of the typical Ra90 product in the industry, which is more suitable for healthy classroom lighting applications. This series of LED light sources are applied to leedarson's Extreme Intelligence series of classroom lights and blackboard lights, combined with its unique polygonal grid optical anti-glare processing, light sensing and PIR human body sensing, digital management and other core technologies. Many schools have conducted installation demonstrations to create a comfortable, eye-protecting, healthy and safe extremely intelligent light experience, meeting and exceeding the various indicators of the classroom lighting requirements in Chapter 5 of the national standard for classroom lighting quality GB 7793-2010.

ShineOn is one of the earliest companies engaged in health lighting research and promoting the concept of full-spectrum LED lighting in China.We systematically proposed two quantitative indicators to express the concept of the full spectrum: spectral continuity (Cs) and the proportion of harmful blue light (Br). Based on the spectrum design of the chip wavelength and the ratio of various phosphors, the spectrum fitting with the standard light source (sunlight) is realized. At the same time, packaging design and process optimization have effectively balanced the contradictory considerations of light efficiency, CRI, blue light ratio, cost and reliability. Published three professional papers included in SCI in international journals, applied for and obtained 8 related patents. leedarson is a major provider of educational lighting fixtures and lighting solutions in China. The forum report jointly signed by ShineOn and leedarson Summarizes a number of key indicators for classroom lighting design, including: Illuminance, Illuminance Uniformity, Color Rendering Ra, and Color Temperature (CCT), flicker/strobe (Flicker/Strobe), glare (Unified Glare Rating UGR), and photobiological safety (Blue Lighting Hazard). Combining the design of relevant indicators of lamps and Dailux lighting simulation software, all indicators of the installed demonstration classroom lighting have reached the advanced level in the industry, creating a good classroom lighting visual environment for students and creating conditions for protecting children's eye health.
