Recently, the 9th International Third Generation Semiconductor Forum (IFWS) & the 20th China International Semiconductor Lighting Forum (SSLCHINA) was held in Xiamen International Convention Center on November 27-30, 2023. At the 20th anniversary of the start-up of semiconductor lighting project, SSLCHINA has made great contributions to better aggregation resources, give play to superior forces, and help industrial development, and has played an important role in promoting industrial progress, project landing, talent introduction, and international cooperation. As an annual international event for the professional lighting industry, this forum brings together the world’s top elites, gathers cross-regional and cross-field wisdom, and jointly summons a new ecology for industrial development. This forum invited domestic and foreign top institutions more than 20+ academicians and international well-known experts composed of ultra-luxury advisory group, 150+ industry experts composed of the program committee expert group, the industry special attention to Mini/Micro-LED display field experts also gathered in Xiamen.
On Nov 27, “Mini/Micro-LED and Other New Display Technology Branch” was held as scheduled, and Liu Guo-xu, CTO and Executive Vice President of Beijing ShineOn New Technology Co., LTD., and Professor Liu Jimei from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology co-chaired the branch. Well-known experts from Hanyang University in South Korea, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Peking University, Xiamen University, Institute of Semiconductor Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Taiwan Yangming Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Hebei University of Technology, Fudan University and other domestic research institutes focused on the development of Mini/Micro-LED and new display technology, and brought wonderful theme reports.
On November 28, ShineOn innovation attended and delivered a keynote report at the “Semiconductor Lighting Chip, Packaging and Optical Communication Technology Branch”, and Dr. Liu Guoxu made a wonderful speech on “Research on the application of single crystal blue-green Bimodal LED in wide color gamut backlight”. ShineOn Innovation maintains continuous innovation in the field of wide color gamut backlight and promotes the development and application of new display technologies.
On November 29, ShineOn was invited to attend the 2023 member conference of the International Semiconductor Lighting Alliance (ISA), which awarded 9 units the “Global Semiconductor Lighting Innovation 100 Best”. ShineOn’s new “New white Mini LED display Application” stood out among many declared projects and won the honor. Signed by Cao Jianlin, Chairman of the International Semiconductor Lighting Alliance (ISA), and awarded by Warren Julian, honorary Professor of the University of Sydney and expert of the ISA jury, affirmed our innovative product development in the field of Mini LED display.
